Task Planning
Planning is determining an action date, date&time or time frame for a task.
How to plan a task?
You can Plan a task while creating it using the Command Bar, clicking on the Plan button or by hitting P on an existing task.
Here’s a quick guide on all the ways to create tasks: How to create tasks.
If you cannot assign a precise date to the task yet, plan it for a broader time frame, like “This Week” or “Next Month”. Learn more: Upcoming Page

Akiflow recognizes natural language, so you can type any date, time, time frames, time slot names or projects to plan your tasks!
Examples of dates, times and time frames
Use natural language while creating a task to plan it.

While typing to create a task, Use backspace / ESC to remove text recognition. E.g., erase tomorrow from Lunch with Tom.
Recognize recurrences
Akiflow recognizes basic recurring options added with natural language:
How?

Type #[Project Name]to search for all the Time Slot with that project

To-dos vs Scheduled
Once planned, you'll see a task on your Today page.
To-dos
If a task has a planned date but not a time, it’ll be visible on your Today page, under the correct date on the To-dos section, and at the bottom of your calendar.
Scheduled
If you've set a date and time to work on a task, you'll also see it on your calendar and in your Today page, on the correct date, under Scheduled on calendar.
You can plan many tasks at a time using the multiple select features, check → How to bulk edit tasks
